Andy Warhol

Colour and the imagery of pop culture.

An American Pop artist, Andy Warhol made everyday products and celebrity images central to his work. His Campbell’s Soup Cans brought thirty-two familiar grocery labels into painting, while his Marilyn portraits explored the power of a widely reproduced public image. Their work and legacy can be explored at MoMA · New York.
